A healer by profession, an artist by soul, Dr. Meenakshi Singhal is an accomplished radiologist with graduation and postgraduation degrees from the prestigious Armed Forces Medical College, Pune (India). A proud veteran, she served as a Medical Officer in the Indian Army, providing care and support in challenging forward-area postings. Over three decades, she interpreted the human body with radiological precision and empathy - leading with expertise, guiding with clarity, and shaping lives through her unwavering commitment to healing.
In January 2025, Dr. Meenakshi made a bold and heartfelt transition from the grayscale world of medical imaging to the vibrant spectrum of contemporary art. Rekindling a long-held passion, she stepped away from clinical practice to embrace art full-time, a powerful reclaiming of identity and creative purpose. For Dr. Meenakshi, each brushstroke is a meditation. Her work draws from her experiences as a doctor, a woman, and a silent observer of life. There is a quiet intensity in her art, a dialogue between discipline and spontaneity, form and fluidity. She paints not just to create, but to feel deeply, to pause time, and to give voice to emotions that defy language.
